home to a large number of unique Art Galleries featuring wood
carvings, art glass, pottery, jewelry, oil and watercolor paintings and

Hot Springs Gallery Walk
On the first Friday of every month
downtown Hot Springs art galleries are open from 5PM until 9PM
for the Hot Springs Gallery Walk. Some galleries feature
one of their artists by prominently displaying their art and
their accomplishments. Often refreshments are also served. Many of the artists are available
during this time and often galleries feature brand new exhibits.

The upper floor is reserved for solo or small group shows of

American Art Gallery.

pottery.

The XU International art gallery
features the art of Longhua Xu. Xu was born in Shanghai, China
in 1954. By 1972 his art was being exhibited all over China
including in the Shanghai Art Museum. In 1989 he came to America
because he felt there would be more access to artists from all
over the world. In 1992 he was commissioned to make
"Mother Nature". "Mother Nature" is a fourteen foot tall
statue that sits in the Central Avenue median near the Arlington
Hotel and the Arlington Lawn of Hot Springs National Park. In
addition to sculptures Xu creates a wide variety of paintings.
